Acupuncture and atopic dermatitis
Skin conditions usually respond favorably to acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatment. This therapy has treated millions of people around the globe for over 3,000 years. Used on every continent on earth, this practice is becoming more and more the go-to treatment when the body is out of balance. Many aficionados of acupuncture understand fully the benefits and insights acupuncture can give to your health and balance of your mind, body, and spirit.
Acupuncture uses hair-thin needles to stimulate the body’s energy to self-regulate. The human body’s innate nature knows how to regulate and control the daily systemic functions of the bodily processes. Acupuncture enhances the process by stimulating key points associated with whichever particular malady that needs to be influenced or regulated.
Skin disorders can be related to multiple organs in relation to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The lung is traditionally associated with the skin and the Metal element in TCM theory. However, the liver is involved with the free flow of Qi. The liver being the blood storer of the body requires the flow of liver energy to move freely unencumbered throughout the body. When this does not happen Liver fire flares up and creat flare-ups in the skin and creating disharmony between lung and liver. The can be many causative factors. But Acupuncture can be a way of managing these symptoms.
