Dr. Dong, PhD (China), is Chair of the Acupuncture Department at YueYang Hospital, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Manager of the Pain Management Specialty Training Center. Dr. Tony Willcox of Acupuncture Zen in Delray Beach, Florida, ventured to Shanghai, China, and interned with Dr. Dong, who has over 30 years of clinical experience.
Dr. Zong Li is the Head Instructor at YueYang Hospital of Integrated Western and Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Department in Shanghai. Her life focus was shared with Boca Raton Acupuncture practitioner Dr. Tony Willcox, including Acupuncture for pain management, Acupuncture for tremor, and Acupuncture treatment for Parkinson’s disease. She has 23 years of service at this hospital.
Dr. Tony Willcox is learning firsthand from Dr. Li Jing, who specializes in Acupuncture and Moxibustion techniques to treat spinal stenosis, lumbar pain, shoulder pain, rotator cuff injuries, and arthritis for patients in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and the Palm Beaches.
Dr. He, Professor at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, for the last 35 years. Dr. Huashun Cui, Associate Professor at Shuguang Hospital of Integrated Western & Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, China, and Dr. Tony Willcox. Dr. Cui performed one year of clinical studies at Harvard University Medical School in the USA on Neuro-modulation effects with Parkinson’s disease and concussions. Dr. Willcox has learned valuable techniques and enhanced clinical skills from Dr. Cui’s personal experience in Acupuncture for Parkinson’s disease, Fascial Paralysis, Insomnia, Stress, Depression, and Pain management, with emphasis on Cervical pain.
Dr. Wang has 35 years of experience as a Professor at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He personally instructed Dr. Willcox in specific Acupuncture techniques for stress incontinence to strengthen the pelvic floor muscle. This scientific study is published in the US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Willcox has found through his practice that this technique is not only beneficial for urinary bladder frequency and urgency.
Dr. Lu specializes in Chinese Herbal Medicine for the treatment of Tremor disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and Tinnitus. Dr. Tony spent time with Dr. Lu learning to differentiate syndromes in the context of complex disease states according to Chinese Medicine Principles.
A rarity, Dr. Tony giving acupuncture to Dr. Shi Xue Min of Tianjin, China, demonstrating his needle technique. Dr. Shi, featured on the documentary 9000 Needles, is considered a Chinese Treasure with his commitment to Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine.
