Golfers elbow or medial epicondylitis is a condition that causes pain or discomfort on the medial or inner side of the elbow. Tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis is the opposite. Which can cause pain and discomfort on the lateral or outside of the elbow. However, both can be obverse. Whereas, the typical symptoms may be on the opposite side, as per the standard definition of the typical condition. ie. Tennis players may have golfers elbow and golfers may have tennis elbow. Symptoms common with this condition one may experience are elbow and wrist stiffness, tenderness on the olecranon, the bony prominence on the upper end of the ulna, one of the two bones that give structural integrity to the forearm. There may be pins – and – needles sensations down the forearm. There is usually tenderness in some of the trigger points in the inside or outside forearm with also tingling to the fingers if more severe and chronic cases.
